Stormwater problems
Pooling, overflowing pits and downpipe issues
Stormwater faults are often about grade, capacity, broken lines, blocked pits or discharge points. The repair may be cleaning, pit work, replacement or a redesigned drainage run.
Note whether pooling happens only during rain or continues in dry weather, and which pits or downpipes overflow first. Photos taken safely during rain can help explain the pattern. Keep accessible grates clear of leaves and debris, but do not enter pits or excavate around buried services yourself.
